Crawford H. Cleveland III has joined as a partner with the law firm of di Santi, Watson, Capua, Wilson & Garrett, PLLC. He was born in New Orleans and grew up on the Gulf Coast. Mr. Cleveland served as Corporate Counsel to one of Louisiana’s largest construction companies prior to relocating to Boone. He brings experience with construction law and government compliance to the firm, and he will also practice in the areas of domestic law and business law as part of his responsibilities.
Mr. Cleveland attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He later graduated from law school in North Carolina and earned a Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law. While in law school, he had the opportunity to work as lead researcher for the Mayor of Charlotte’s re-election campaign, legal department staff assistant for the 2012 Democratic National Convention, and legal extern for the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office.
As an active participant in the Boone community, Mr. Cleveland serves on the Board of Directors for the Watauga County Children’s Council and is a member of the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club. His wife, Brynn Cleveland, is a 3rd grade teacher with Watauga County Schools. They have two boys, Harry and Ferris, and enjoy exploring the mountains and attending St. Mary’s Episcopal Church together as a family.
